Cambodian Angel Investors Network Program
CAIN Program is an angel-investor development program providing business angels participating in investor education program and investment gateway.
Program Contents and Activities
The program runs with the support from Cambodian Investors Community Association (CiC) covering 5-month intensive curriculum and various activities, including joint study trips, investment pitches, startup pitches, evaluation of business, and networking with experience local and international business angels. CAIN Program’s participants will experience real investment deals throughout the program and have chances to syndicate their investment with other angel networks as well as CiC. CAIN Program spans over five months and consists of five parts:

Recruiting Angels
CAIN Program Cohort 01, we recruit around 20-30 participants

Introductory Workshops
Two to three workshops on investment processes

Investment Pitches
5 times of investment pitches (around 12-15 companies) will pitch their business during the program
04
Reflection Workshops
At least five reflection sessions following the pitch
05
Boot Camp & Joint Activities with BIO Program
2-day training camp & other joint activities with BIO Accelerator Program

Program Benefits
Investment Knowledge
Provide and strengthen investment knowledge and experience through investor education program, networking events such AAA summit, Angel investor talk, workshops and investor gathering.
Cost Efficiency
Reducing cost associate with investment such as time, process & transaction. Privileged rate for on investment support services include, due diligence, business evaluation, market research, consulting, advisory, deal syndication and deal sourcing.

Investment opportunity guarantee from local, national and international businesses including the opportunity to become a member of CiC community.
Risk Minimization
CAIN works closely with CiC, where it already built the good investment pipeline and screening process so that participating angels will probably get a deal(s) which is already studied. Furthermore, CAIN platform will help minimizing some conflict of interests among angel investors (if there is co-investment) with the set mechanism.
